To be worn by Army aviators, flight crews, air observers, and individual on flight status for protection from flame and flash fires and increase of the confidence level and survivability in the event of conflict in warm temperature zones. The gloves are of the 4-finger and thumb type, having a fabric on the back of the hand, the thumb and the fourchettes. The front of hand and fingers are of leather. An elastic take-up is used on the front of the wrist. Materials Used are leather is a perspiration and water resistant hair sheep, cattlehide or horsehide leather; the fabric is a high temperature resistant knitted polyamide simplex cloth.
